Project description
For this massive project – construction of 11 blocks of seven-storey residential buildings in Norrköping, Östergötland. Skonto Prefab designed, produced and installed concrete and metal bearing structures, including walls, columns, balconies, cavity ceiling panels and stair elements. In the course of project a new assembly technology was developed that was specific to the structural requirements in monolithic coverings. To ensure the deflection of monolithic (filigree) coverings between the floors a successful solution was found by using a post-tensioned cable system.
